I have the urge to stick needles in her. Probably that's because the last nurse I saw, that's all she wanted to do to me! :| At any rate, she's keeping me company on my bedside table.

Okay, I didn't want to say anything until the zines were available for purchase, but distro e is now carrying my zine! I did a reprint just for them so if you want a copy, head on over there. Oh! Okay, the title is from Gollum, not me. I just started reading The Hobbit to be followed by Lord of the Rings since I bought a boxed set. I've seen the movies umpteen times and since the rule of thumb is that book is generally a lot better than the movie I finally decided to pick it up. The Hobbit reads pretty well, and although I love to read, I just can't seem to really get into it for more than a chapter. Loss of concentration or something. I don't think it's the book's fault in this case.

Anyway, since my swap from Wet Canvas has been received I can finally post a piccy

I'm a bit tired today. Perhaps I should take a nap? I doubt it. For some reason I feel I should be working on my samples for April's Sampler. I think I must have fallen on my head at some point. ;) By the way, this week Marie is raffling off some February back-up Samplers so scoot on over there and buy a ticket! :)

Well, my other half is anyway! He's been in charge of preparing meals lately and yesterday, in the interest of varying things a bit, I decided to teach him to make a spinach quiche. Annoyance was limited and the quiche came out yummy so a win-win situation basically. He'd like to try honey mustard chicken next. It's really easy so I think we'll give it a go. If I get really ambitious, maybe I'll try teaching him to make brownies, but maybe not.

I've got lots of lovelies coming for Spicey Creations re-opening. I think it will make it worth the wait! :)
I do have some things to swap and will get them listed along with my "wants list" after site is back up and running with new goodies.

Home Sweet Home

Well, I finally got home yesterday. A bit longer than we'd originally thought, but I'm doing okay. I can't do a whole lot at the moment like well, go anywhere, but I can do most any sedentary stuff.
It actually snowed the day I left and I could see it from my hospital room window. It snowed a bunch. It was white everywhere! It made me so happy to see! I just wish I'd had my camera. Today is strange as it has gone from hard rain to blinding sunshine 5-6 times this morning.

I received a few of RAK ATCs. They are really gorgeous! I hope to make some more tomorrow to send out so perhaps my muse will visit me later today? Well, one can hope. I will post pics of whatever I make.
Spicey Creations will be open again soon with new goodies.
I will also try to finish a "wish list" to post for trades.
Lastly, I want to say thanks for all the kind words and well wishes.
